She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Health Information Management and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBBP). Additionally, Cokethia has earned multiple prestigious credentials in the healthcare coding and auditing sectors, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence.

Beyond her professional achievements, Cokethia is a passionate and dedicated volunteer. She actively contributes to the health information management community as a member of AHIMA, GHIMA, and NGHIMA, where she serves as the Mentoring Chairperson. She also holds leadership roles as the Treasurer of the Marietta AAPC Chapter and a member of the ACDIS Leadership Council.
