Cokethia is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBBP), awarded by the Management and Strategy Institute, underscoring her proficiency in process improvement and operational excellence. She also holds multiple esteemed credentials in the coding and auditing sectors, including:

• CPC (Certified Professional Coder)
• CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
• CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor)

With extensive experience in managing daily coding operations, Cokethia has a proven track record of successfully onboarding and offboarding staff while driving organizational performance. Her expertise extends to center-wide reimbursement and quality improvement initiatives, where she collaborates with clinicians and providers to educate and advise on documentation, coding, and billing best practices.

She is an active member of AHIMA, GHIMA, and NGHIMA, and served on the GHIMA Mentoring Committee from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, she co-coordinates the Coding Roundtable and has held leadership roles, including serving as the President of the Marietta AAPC Chapter from 2019 to 2020.
